Brothers, once again the time is here for each of us to step up in support of our Lodge.  As you know, the Masons of OBL80, their families and friends, assist the Osceola County Fair, and the Kissimmee Valley and Livestock Show at the Fairgrounds on 192, whereby we man the ticketing booths and entry gates.  In addition, the Silver Spurs Rodeo also occurs at this same time and these two events have been the primary source of our recognition in service to our community for the past several years.

Please consider working with us and spending a day at the fair, with your OBL80 Brothers and VOLUNTEER to work a few hours in service to your Lodge.  Worshipful Jim Fisher, PM is once more heading up the scheduling and coordination of VOLUNTEER manpower during the time period this year of February 10th-19th.  You get to have a lot of fun, and additionally get a bonus of free admission to the KVLS Fair and Livestock Shows, so contact us ASAP to get your schedule to work in place and pick your favorite time before the slots are full.  Click here for a schedule of 2012 fair events to print up for your convenience.

St Cloud 221 will be holding a Stated Communication on Thursday January 26th, 6:30pm supper, 7:30pm dinner. Any member who is able to attend is requested to be present to show our support for their newly installed officers.

Winter Garden 165 will be installing their officers for 2012, on Saturday January 21st at 2pm. Any member who is able to attend is encourage to be present to support our Brothers.

The Masonic Medical Research Laboratory will be making a presentation at Pine Castle 368 during supper on Wednesday January 18th. Any member who is able to attend is requested to support this worthy charity.

Brother Pat Fisher has asked we be present to support the Lodge at the next OBL80 Stated Communication, Jan 16th:

    Orange Blossom Lodge will be donating $250.00 for the purchase of school supplies to the students of Central Avenue Elementary school at our next meeting on January 16th at 7:30pm.  I went and spoke with the Osceola News Gazette this morning and they …… did say that if someone would take a picture of the presentation and do a little write up, then they would publish it.  I spoke with the Principal who will be attending the presentation as well.

FYI, this was motioned and put to the craft at one of our recent past meetings, and Brother Pat, has again made it happen….Please show your support for the youth of our community and being present to publicize “What Mason’s Do!” by being there!
