Greetings my brothers.
Another year is coming to a close. Soon I will be turning the reins over to Mitch Lokken. I am sure
that he will do a wonderful job. The Christmas party was a huge success. I would like to thank
everyone that helped and attended. I would like to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year. On December 27th (St. John’s Day), Worshipful Jeffords Miller and his wife will be
celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Lodge. He extends an invitation to all to stop by
from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Afternoon.
We have a busy month in January. We will be conferring the Entered Apprentice Degree on
January 6. The Called Communication will be at 7:00 pm. On Thursday, January 21st at 7:00 pm
the Lodge will hold its Annual Installation of Officers. The Lodge’s 125th Anniversary is Friday
January 22, 2010. The Lodge will be commissioning a commemorative coin to celebrate the
Anniversary. It should be available in time for the upcoming installation. WøHorne will be in
charge, and I believe it will be something very special. On January 23rd will be the annual East –
West Shrine Game. This year it will be in Orlando, at the Citrus Bowl at 3:00 in the afternoon. The
Knights of Solomon Chapter of the Widow’s Sons will play a prominent role in the opening
festivities. Come out for a good time and support the Shrine.
In February we will again be manning the gates for the Osceola County Fair. This is our major
fundraising activity for the year. Worshipful Fisher will soon have sign up sheets so you can schedule your
time to help. Come out and support your Lodge and join us for a good time as well.
Fraternally yours,
Jim Davis, PM
Orange Blossom Lodge #80 met in Due and Ancient form for the stated meeting for December. The most important items for the meeting were the voting for the officers for 2010.
The following Officers were elected by the Brethren to serve for Masonic Year 2010
Worshipful Master: Bro. Mitch Lokken
Senior Warden: Bro. Robert Junecko
Junior Warden: Bro. Kevin Gowen
Treasurer: Bro. Pat Fisher
Secretary: Bro. Johnny Brock, PM
Congratulations to the new officers. Mitch Lokken and his team will be appointing brothers to other rolls within the lodge including Senior Deacon, Junior Deacon, Senior Steward, Junior Steward, Tyler, and Chaplain. Please check our updates or lodge officers page in the near future for updates.

First I’d like to thank everyone that came out to our picnic. It was a great success with plenty of friends, food, beverages, and fellowship. I’m looking forward our next picnic.
The Picnic will be located at the Merry D Campground, located at 4261 Pleasant hill rd. Once you enter through the main gate, you will follow the roadway straight back until it starts to curve to the right. You will follow the road till it leaves the pavement and is a crushed rock road. Follow to the back field located near the lake. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

First I’d like to apologize for the site being under construction. Due to the amount of information that continues to come in, I have moved Orange Blossom #80’s website to a format that will allow for quicker dissemination of information.
On Nov 21st at 10:30 am, we’ll be having our first picnic at the Merry D Campground, which is located at 4261 Pleasant hill Rd. This is not a lodge sponsored event so feel free to bring out the family and friends.
Thank you for visiting our website. This page has been created to help in communications for the brothers and allows me to do my part in helping out the brotherhood. Currently I’m changing the site design, so have patience. Please feel free to send in your pictures, comments, and idea’s. It is my sincere desire that you all enjoy and use this web page to help you in your travels, and furthering the lodge as well as Freemasonry.
